In order to enhance Donghua University's cross-disciplinary research, teaching and academic innovation in nanotechnology, as well as its cooperative relations with outside the university, the university established the Eastern Taiwan Nanotechnology Research Center in 1994. Its main source of funding is the National Nanotechnology Project. , but with the withdrawal of the Nano National Project and the decrease in funding year by year, in order to effectively utilize these nano core facilities, our college passed the second meeting of the college administrative directors in the first semester of the 104 academic year, and on 105.02 . 25 Approved to establish the "National Donghua University Eastern Precious Instruments Center". The mission of this center is not only to gradually transfer the instruments in the core facilities of the original Nano Center to the management of the Precious Instrument Center and continue the joint use services of these instruments, but also to effectively integrate the valuable instruments in the school and further expand the joint use service plan of the school's own instruments. In addition, it also cooperates with the school to promote the establishment of key features of scientific research, assists the research work of various units within the school, promotes the development and improvement of the school's scientific research, and at the same time expands services for off-campus industrial research and development.
